Jumper* - Chicnova | Gilet - Fat Face | Pyjamas - Fat Face
On a bit of a whim last week, Rob and I decided to take a trip up to North Norfolk, Wells-next-the-Sea to be precise, to see in 2013 by the sea. I have such a love affair with the coast and somedays I wish I lived that little bit closer to the sea, preferably in my very own candy-striped beach hut. Our days were spent marching out along the beach, scaling the grassy dunes and warming up in a multitude of cosy pubs whilst cradling a glass of winter pimms. The cottage we stayed at was quaint and rustic, yet completely charming and it didn't take us long to adjust to early nights in by the log burner sinking into a good book. I am not one for flamboyant celebrations on New Year so for me, this little break away was understated perfection. We were even serenaded by some fireworks on the beach at midnight which topped off our trip wonderfully.
I hope you all had a very happy New Year, whatever you were up to, and may 2013 bring you all the love, happiness and prosperity you wish for. Thank you all for showing me an endless stream of support on my blog during the past year - I honestly appreciate it more than I can say and I hope you will stick around for more beauty-related fun in 2013. x

Sounds like an amazing trip, I love going to the seaside, even when it's freezing cold and blowing a gale there's still something so special about it. I agree with you I would love to live closer to the coast! :) and those little beach huts are the cutest! <3
