Bourjois Boutique

Last night I attended the launch of the Bourjois Boutique, a pop up shop to satiate all your beauty and fashion needs; a chance to escape and revel in a haven of makeup and macaroons. Located on the top floor of Beach Blanket Babylon, a sophisticated East London haunt, I was led up the ribbon-laced staircases into a lofty space buzzing full of people and the occasional celebrity. There was so much to take in, I didn't quite know where to start...so headed to the bar, always a good place to start. With champagne in hand I weaved my way through the maze of extravagant decor, plush seating, rails of clothing and sweetie jars of makeup. Jameela Jamil was there in all her majestic glory reporting live for T4 whilst ladies were getting pampered and preened left, right and centre by the Bourjois team. Manicure and makeup tables littered the room, whilst some seriously impressive body art was occurring at the back. Bourjois makeup studded any available space, blush pots, lipglosses and eyeshadows all beckoning for a quick swipe of the finger and slick on the lips. It was particularly exciting to spy some of my quotes from recent Bourjois reviews elegantly framed and dotted amongst the makeup. Until Monday, when the Bourjois Boutique finishes, Bourjois are offering a discount of up to 65% off their products - so it is the perfect chance to pick up some of your beauty must-haves.

The evening was a heady whirl; a circus of cosmetics and canapes. If you have a chance to visit the Bourjois Boutique then I recommend you grabbing a group of girls and heading over, to pay homage to the golden poodle if nothing else!
