sparkling in milan

No 7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour - Milan
I have a love/hate relationship with this polish. I love the colour, the finish and the glorious glitter, I hate the fact that it is impossible to photograph accurately. Believe me, it is much prettier, and paler in real life! It is an intriguing iridescent pink with silver shimmer running through it - perfect for getting your fingers festive as the Christmas season approaches.

I bought this varnish in a moment of mild panic as I realised I had an expiring No 7 Boots voucher and no real need for any of their products. I wouldn't normally peruse the No 7 (or Ruby & Millie) counters if it wasn't for those pesky, enabling vouchers, so I thought I would have a quick look and was drawn in by this particularly sparkly polish.

I wish I could say these are my real nails but I owe all their loveliness to Elegant Touch fake nails. They are the french manicure ones I wore to the Cosmo Blog Awards. I was impressed they were still intact by the weekend so, before they all flicked off, I seized the chance to give them a speedy swatch of this new polish. I only needed two coats to achieve a deep opaque finish and the glitter is really fine, so doesn't leave you with a gritty finish to your nails, which is always a bonus!

What products have you picked up recently with your No 7 voucher?

I can vouch for Milan being totally gorgeous as I got it in a set for Christmas, I love the almost silver tone under the pink. It makes it so unique!

I used a boots no7 voucher to try out their hot cloth cleanser though I must say I wasn't overly impressed. Ah well, back to Liz Earle ;)

i have about 3 bottles of this because it always comes in the sets, i feel the same, looks lovely but is a nightmare to get off, i tend to use it on my toes mostly, because i dont change the colour on my toes as often as my hands so can put it off by just topping it up... naughty :D

I got this in a set and was actually just about to paint my nails with this colour! I bought the No7 cleanse and polish with my voucher which left my skin feeling so soft. Definitely worth investing in :-)

They look so good! I really though they were real.
I've got a couple of no7 polishes but I find them quite weird to apply. Maybe it's just me!

I also have expiring vouchers and wanted some more No7 colours, think I'll try this one. I know what you mean about the vouchers, I'm always persuaded to buy something, would be a waste not to(great marketing)!

I posted yesterday about these beauties x x x
