The packaging was probably the main reason why I was drawn to this product. I am quite the mascara junkie, but had recently reached the end of my Benefit BadGal Lash and needed to find another mascara to supplement my big lash desire! As you can see, the tube is a nice chunky pinky purple colour and the wand is bristly with a slight spoon shape to help fan out your lashes.
The verdict...
I really like the effect this product gives and I do think it gives me that 'false lash effect'. It was a very smooth consistency and only really required one application to gain instant thickness and a noticeable effect. However, on the pics above I have applied two coats on my lashes which achieves the desired effect I'm after.
A few people mentioned that they had found this product drying and clumpy but I can honestly say I have experienced neither of these negatives when using this mascara. I think the colour is a lovely dense black and it has swiftly become my number 1 staple mascara of 2010!!

i LOVED this the first 3 times I used it... then it seemed to make my lashes stumpy =0/ anymore then 2 coats and your in spider city! xxxxx
Sounds great - I havent tried this one but have looked at it. I currently use Max Factors False Lash effect which I really really like but am getting to the end of it and not sure whether to replace or try a new one. this one reminds me of the Max Factor one. Great review :)

I still haven't found a HG mascara, I believe that an eyelash curler and the proper application makes all the difference- not the mascara's formulation. But maybe I'm wrong ;)
I have this too and do like it but dont love it, I finf it dries too quickly too be able to build the layers up. xx

Iv been wary of falling for the 'cute pink packaging' since the Rimmel mascara let me down but after this review i may have to try it!!
